Please consider this for your next outdoor event… custom printed flyers (commonly known as frisbeez)… they’ve got such a great price point you can’t pass it up… this particular style below is on special thru September 1, 2008 too.
Why consider it? This past weekend I was at a local outdoor jazz event and Farmers Insurance was passing out custom printed mini footballs… sure you can do the mini footballs (they’re better in my opinion)… but out of every vendor at the event handing out promotional swag, the footballs were the most prominent… people were playing with them all over the park. Custom printed frisbees may appeal to an older demo as mostly kids were playing with the footballs.

Logo’d pen… check. Logo’d post-its… check. Logo’d shirt… check. Logo’d umbrella… logo’d umbrella… where are the logo’d umbrellas?
Really Little Guy? Is it that important? I mean, you only get them out on rainy days right?
Even if you live in Camp Greenlake, the magical place where it never rains, you still want an umbrella to protect you from the scorching heat. That’s right, rain or shine, nearly every household needs an umbrella. For some psychographs it could be said, nearly every car needs an umbrella. No, the car doesn’t need an umbrella!
In my household of five it is like this… there are four in the house, only which two of can be found, and one in the wife’s
vehicle. Of those five, only one has a logo on it… the beautiful blue and gold striped one with the Notre Dame logo on it. Unfortunately for us, we had to buy every one of these umbrellas. We haven’t visited a single place where a company was handing out promotional umbrellas. Oh wait, I take that back, the Kansas City Star does pass them out. The one we got broke so it is serving us by helping fill our local landfill.
Point to the rambling? One, pass out custom umbrellas. Two, make sure that you don’t go with the cheapest one you can find so that it doesn’t end up filling someone’s local landfill, instead of serving to remind its owner of your awesome brand!
Two goes for any promotion… if your budget doesn’t allow for you to invest in a quality product you desire, then find a quality product that your budget can afford.
