I think so! I’m a big fan of sticky notes cuz you can leave them nearly everywhere and they’re a lot of fun to be creative with. Remember though, we have to be clever and unique… step outside of the box here and there. Ever leave a card, note, or message behind for someone and wonder if it will be found? Do this… write yourself a note, or lie your biz card on your desk right now. Do it. Good. Now get up and walk about ten feet away. Turn around and take a look at the general area where you left the note. See that? Now come back to the computer so you can read the rest of this… take a look at these little guys.
It’s a cube with a wire sticking out of it and an alligator clip on the end. In the 80’s when I was in jr. high I had an alligator clip attached to a leather string of feathers so you could clip it on your clothes, in your hair, or decorate your room. Yep, the 80’s… enough said. So anyway, back to this cubie-clippy thing… This is a note holder! So now imagine this little guy holding your biz card or note on your desk, while you’re standing about ten feet away from where it is. Come one, shut your eyes… it’s imagination time. Ok, see it? Sometimes you just have to try it to know whether you’ll like it. This week, while playing away in my favorite local coffee shop, I noticed my biz partner dusting off his Macbook with a fun looking red gadget.
